They diagnose potential problems that stand in the way of your body’s ability to comfortably and easily digest food, move it through the body and get rid of waste. It’s important that your gastrointestinal system is healthy so that your body absorbs the nutrition it needs for energy and vitality.

You should be empty stomach. Please bring a responsible attendant and all your health related and medication related documents. Please also indicate if you have any allergies

The physician will speak with you about the visual findings on your procedure before you go home. If biopsies were taken or polyps removed, you should call the Hospital for results a week from your procedure date.

Unless your physician gives you dietary restrictions, you are free to eat a normal breakfast or lunch after leaving our endoscopy center.
